The Dubai Silver Cup, one of the two highest rated competitions of the Middle East, is stepping into the last league phase,. The tournament, hosted by the splendid Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, in Dubai, sees five teams up to 20 goals, partake, and the final is set to be played on Saturday January 24.

 

UAE and Jehangiri opened fire in the third matchdate, on Saturday January 17. , Although Sheikha Maitha’s foursome had to fight hard, they left the ground with a crucial 10-9 win that was sealed in the last minutes of play. For Jehangiri it was their second loss, which means that they are almost with hopeless to reach the final.

 

The follow-up, that saw the clash between Habtoor and Bangash, was a very different story. In another remarkable display of great polo, Mohammed Al Habtoor & Co secured a 8-7 victory in their second game, to remain undefeated and very well positioned to earn a spot in the decisive game.
